Our foundation cows were purchased from Alex Naccarato. We also
started with Schaefer cattle. Kish's #K37 Gold Buckle originated from the Schaefer herd. Our first calf crop
was sired by a Moreno bull. We started with a small female herd and plan to keep it somewhat small, currently at 32
head of cows. We kept 11 heifers (most were sired by "Bob") that we will be
AI'ing to (Spit Shine, Little Darkness, Little DaJoose, Boo Boo, Mr. Harrison, Rampage's Ghost,
Dr. Hou, Last Call & Pandemonium-many options). We now have females sired by our Wilfong bull and have
kept some from line breeding the Naccarato side. We most recently added two Kephart females from the Rice Ranch.
We are also looking forward to a Josey Wales calf out of one of them next spring.
